Salzburg Walking Tour

A stroll through the Old Town with a visit to the Princely Park and Mirabell Palace. The route continues along one of Europe’s oldest shopping streets, Zernova Street, known for its 13th-century medieval facades, historic shops, and boutiques of leading brands.

The program includes a visit to St. Peter’s Monastery, one of the oldest in Europe, with a tour of the catacombs and early Christian cemetery. Here you can also see elements of the monastic life of the early Middle Ages. After the tour, you can optionally visit the Stiftskeller St. Peter restaurant, the oldest operating establishment in Europe (founded in 803).

The program concludes with a tour of the architectural complex surrounding the Cathedral, including the residences of the Salzburg archbishops, Mozartplatz, Austria’s first 18th-century coffee house, Tomaselli, and the Fürst confectionery, home to the famous Mozart Balls.
