The Italian automaker “Alfa Romeo” has been creating cars for over 100 years. The stylish appearance of its models delights not only the lucky owners of the cars. It is not surprising that near Milan, the birthplace of the brand, a wonderful historical museum has been created. Here, iconic models of the company are displayed: from the first model 24 HP to supercars developed just a few years ago. The rich exhibition will please both long-time fans of the brand and people far from automotive themes.
The museum is located in the suburbs of Milan – Arese, on the territory of the now-defunct “Alfa Romeo” factory. On an area of 4800 sq. m, all road models of the factory, prototypes, and aircraft engines are presented. The first floor houses cars that rolled off the assembly line from 1914 to the 2000s, including the current lineup. On the second level, you can see exclusive cars from famous coachbuilders: “Castagna”, “Zagato”, “Bertone”. Nearby is a section dedicated to two iconic models – the “6C” and the “Giulia.”
The most “delicious” part is on the last two floors: racing cars and sports cars. The main “stars” of this section are the stunning “Tipo 33”, two championship “TT12” and “SC12” cars facing each other, and two Formula 1 cars from 1993.
At the end of the tour, guests visit the 4D cinema – the universe of Alfa Romeo.
