Palma de Mallorca – a famous city with a rich cultural and historical heritage

Bellver Castle
One of the symbols of the city – a strict fortress-like structure located in the western part of Mallorca on top of a hill.
Dating back to the 14th century. The castle has an interesting round shape.
Cathedral of Santa Maria or La Seu
Another bright symbol, a grand structure that took 700 years to build. This is the main religious building not only of Palma but of all the Balearic Islands. La Seu is a unique monument of Gothic architecture. It is located in the southern part of the city, not far from the coast, so it is beautifully visible from the sea shore.
Promenade
The Paseo Maritimo promenade is a favorite spot for leisurely walks and evening strolls not only among tourists but also among locals. It was designed in 1950 by architect Gabriel Roca. Here you can enjoy beautiful sea views to your heart’s content.
Port
A huge port, divided into 2 parts: one of them, Marina Moll Vell, is where fishing boats and stunning yachts are located, while the other is a cruise port that accommodates gigantic cruise liners.
Olivar Market

San Juan Gastronomic Market
A true paradise for gourmets. A magnificent place located in an architectural complex dating back to the last century. Paseo del Born Street, which reminds many of the famous Paseo de Gracia in Barcelona. It is famous for its modernist buildings and expensive shops, attractions that together create

Old Town
