Of particular value to the ancient temple is the fact that erected back in the early XIII century, the Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Chartres (Notre-Dame de Chartres) has survived the turbulent upheavals that have occurred in these places over the centuries. It survived even during the French Revolution. The cathedral seems to have been carefully guarded by providence or Heaven itself.

Not far from the cathedral your energetic preparation takes place: breathing gymnastics by Strelnikova and chakral warm-up by Arzumanova. The attendant (Olga Arzumanova) helps each participant to prepare for the ascent, tells how everyone should go to the temple and how to enter it.

Familiarization with the temple continues from inside – you will see what you have been listening to on the way, then Olga Arzumanova will give everyone a task: to find your place in the temple and be alone for a while. After visiting the temple you go down to the river Eure and the tour continues outside.
