  • La Força Vella Ancient fortresswall . A walk through the territory of the ancient fortress, built approximately in the I century BC by the Romans, will bring incredible emotions. Here travelers can look inside the Cathedral, the time of construction of which varies between XI and XVIII centuries. Looking at the architecture of the temple, you can see the different styles used by architects – Romanesque, Gothic, Baroque. Also among the main monuments of the historical part of Girona can be distinguished the Church of St. Felix, the Church of St. Peter, the Arab baths and the Museum of Art.

  • Jewish Quarter. The recently reconstructed quarter, where a large community of Jews lived during the Middle Ages, occupies a special place in the Old Town. It is now home to a museum, where visitors can explore the history of Jewish life in Girona and Medieval Spain on their own or with a guide.
