Gibraltar Excursion.

Less than an hour by car from Marbella and you are in Gibraltar, on the Rock, as the Spanish call it. In an area
an area of only 6.5 square kilometers, there are 30,000 inhabitants. The space here is so small that crossing the border with Spain, you enter the “Rock” on the runway of the local airport.

n

At the very top of Gibraltar are the main attractions: St. Michael’s Cave, tunnels made to protect the “Rock” from the enemy and of course the monkeys living here in their natural state. There are about 300 of them and they feel very well here. At the bottom, on the southwest side, there is a viewing platform “Punto Europa” and next to the lighthouse.

n

Gibraltar is a British territory, the official language is English, but everyone also speaks Spanish. There is local money here, Gibraltar pounds, but you can also pay in euros in stores.
