This tour includes a visit to Villa Barbaro in Maser, provincia di Treviso, 55 km from Vicenza. The villa was built in the 1560s according to the project of Andrea Palladio, but it owes its fame primarily to the frescoes of Paolo Veronese, one of the most important artists of the Venetian school. The cycle of frescoes, executed in light and shadow or trompe l’oeil technique, is unrivaled in the artist’s work in terms of the variety of solutions applied. You can organize wine tasting and visit the carriage museum. The second wonderful villa is Villa Emo Fanzolo (Treviso – province of Treviso). Here you can admire the frescoes of Zelotti, a pupil of Paolo Veronese. The villa became a prototype for the construction of many mansions around the world.
