Parco Avventura Il Gigante Adventure Park.
The park is nestled on one of the northern hills surrounding Florence, just a 10-minute drive from the city. It is the original adventure and amusement park built on trees. The temperature here is always 4-5 degrees lower than in the Tuscan capital, and the park’s tree crowns provide a pleasant coolness.
The small forest is home to ropeways, suspended ladders, bridges and bungee cords, which train agility, co-ordination and balance. After paying for your ticket you will be given the equipment, the instructor will give you all the necessary instructions and you can set off to conquer the peaks.
The park is perfectly designed: the zones are suitable for small children (from 3 years old), who can have fun in complete safety on paths up to 1 metre high and with our instructors, who will accompany them every step of the way, to teenagers and adults, for whom there are the most difficult and exciting routes. 18 routes, of varying difficulty and height, are marked with different colours:
Yellow – for the youngest from 3 to 6 years
Orange – 6 to 8 years
Blue and Red (for teenagers and adults) run at a height of 15 to 20 metres from the ground.
The park has a bar where you can buy water and ice cream. Part of the area is equipped with wooden benches with tables, so feel free to bring your own sandwiches – you can have a picnic right here.
Tickets are valid for two and a half hours. Admission is free for companions.
The park is open every day from May to September. In case of rain, the park is closed
