Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo has been building cars for over 100 years. It’s not just the happy owners who admire the stylish looks of its models. It’s no wonder that not far from Milan, the birthplace of the brand, they’ve created a beautiful historical museum. Here the iconic models of the concern are exhibited: from the first 24 HP model to the supercars developed just a few years ago. The rich exposition will please both long-time fans of the brand and people who are far from the automotive theme.
The museum is located in the Milan suburb of Arese on the territory of the now defunct Alfa Romeo factory. The 4,800 square metre space displays all the factory’s road models, prototypes and aircraft engines. The ground floor contains cars that rolled off the assembly line from 1914 to the 2000s, including the current range. On the second level you can see exclusive cars from the famous coachbuilders Castagna, Zagato and Bertone. Next to it is a section dedicated to two iconic models – the 6C and the Giulia.
The most “tasty” is on the last two floors: racing cars and sports cars. The main stars of this section are the stunning Tipo 33, two championship TT12s and SC12s facing each other and two 1993 Formula 1 cars.
At the end of the tour, guests visit the 4D cinema – the Alfa Romeo universe.
