Dolomite trekking (for people with different levels of fitness)
We offer you a trekking tour on the dolomites of Lake Garda.
The trekking is carried out at different heights depending on your fitness and confidence. The programme is tailor-made for each request. Below are a couple of options.
The trekking is conducted only in English and Italian with guides who are professional instructors. During the climb the guide will tell the history of the mountains and various interesting facts.
Garda Punta Larici:
Riva del Garda 65 metres
Elevation difference: 850 metres.
Maximum altitude: 907 metres.
1). From the historic centre of Riva del Garda begins the Ponale road, carved into the rock overlooking the lake in 1851, closed to cars in 1994 and turned into a wonderful path with spectacular views at every turn. As for Punta Lirici, the panorama is stunning, you can admire the overhang of the whole of Lake Garda: to the north with the towns of Riva and Torbole to the south, where you can see the Sirmione peninsula. And, of course, all the mountains that rise above Lake Garda. The whole site is a continuous varied panorama. You can also stop at cafes along the way to freshen up or have lunch at a trattoria in the village of Pregasina.
2). The tour can be simplified by travelling by car for about 9km to a scenic point already at an altitude of 400m.
Monte Baldo:
From Riva del Garda to Malcesine by taxi 16km. Cable car: from Malcesine (80m above sea level) take the cable car up to the 1800m mark, once you arrive the guide will agree the route with you.
1). This is a trek that can be easy or difficult, depending on your capabilities: climbing by cable car. Once at altitude, you can enjoy scenic views. Italy’s largest lake is born in a landscape that was formed millennia ago among hills, mountains and glaciers. Garda is a mirror of the surrounding mountains, among which stands out Monte Baldo, over 2000 metres high. About 40 kilometres long, this rectangular massif covers the shores of Veronese to Benaco. Its location allows you to enjoy incredible views that include all the mountain ranges within a radius of 100 kilometres.
2). In case of bad weather – this option is not available, the guide will suggest alternative routes in any case rich in views and history, perhaps through our beautiful villages and hamlets, between lakes and castles.
