Tour based on the novel “Angels and Demons” by D. Angels and Demons (walking tour only)
The tour starts in St Peter’s Square and ends in People’s Square.
Fire, Earth, Air, Water….
You have the opportunity to uncover the mysteries of the four elements, look through a mystical prism at the world-famous monuments of Rome, discover new masterpieces of the Eternal City, revive the pages of Dan Brown’s acclaimed novel and perhaps argue with the author.
You will touch the mystery – you will see 4 altars of science. You will be guided by angels: the Church of Santa Maria della Vittoria, which preserves Bernini’s masterpiece “The Ecstasy of St Teresa” with the divine Fire piercing the Saint.
The Pantheon – the final resting place of the great Raphael, the Church of Santa Maria del Popolo – with its mysterious Chigi Chapel and Bernini’s sculptures as a symbol of the omnipotence of the earth.
Bernini’s Fountain of the 4 Rivers in Piazza Navona – the apotheosis of Water
And finally, the grandiose St Peter’s Square designed by Bernini – where Air rules, the Castle of the Holy Angel.
