Gondola ride
You can take a ride on a classic gondola:
The ride lasts 30 or 60 minutes. If you would like to take a longer gondola ride, please check with our managers in advance.
Gondolas leave from several stops, which you can choose based on the location of your hotel:
Danieli – Bridge of Sighs
Dogana – Grand Canal and small canals
Bacino Orseolo – Rialto
Accademia – San Trovaso
San Toma – San Polo
Maximum number of people in the gondola is 5.
You can also book a guided gondola tour (maximum number of people 4)
You can also book a serenade ride – (maximum number of people 3), with two musicians on the boat: a singer and an accordionist
You can also order a bottle of champagne or an aperitif with Venetian mini snacks
The gondoliers speak English or Italian. If you need an interpreter, please ask our managers.
Gondoliers are not water taxis and cannot sail to a specific hotel. They start their journey from the stops listed above and return at the end of the service to those stops. If you want to go for a ride from your hotel and return to it or want to be dropped off at a specific location or restaurant, you will need to book a private standard or deluxe water taxi.
