Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the sites of Suvorov’s legendary march across the Alps. You can see the famous Devil’s Bridge, learn about the history of its construction, appreciate the tactical art of A.V. Suvorov and admire the heroism of Russian soldiers who fought their way across the bridge in 1799. Near the Devil’s Bridge, in memory of the soldiers who died crossing the Alps, a 12-metre high Orthodox cross is carved into the rock and a memorial plaque is erected.
