Málaga Excursion.

Málaga is the capital of the province of the same name and the second city of Andalusia in terms of population, with 560,000 inhabitants.

The city’sairport , named after Pablo Picasso , is the third largest in terms of passenger traffic in Spain. In the Old Town of Málaga, which was formed in the era of the Moors, are located the main attractions: the Cathedral, the fortress of Alcazaba, the Roman theater, found by archaeologists in the middle of the last century and the House – Museum of Pablo Picasso.

On the highest part of the city, on the Gibralfaro Mountain, there is a fortress of the same name and an observation deck, which offers the best view of the city and the port of Málaga. From here you can walk down to the historic center of the city. Plaza Merced, formerly the city’s central square, is the place where the artist Pablo Ruiz Picasso was born in 1881.

TheAutomobile Museum is one of the most interesting museums in the city and a must-see.

Larios Street is the main pedestrian street of the Old Town and undoubtedly the most beautiful. Not far from here is the bar “Casa de Guardia”, one of the oldest in the city, where you can taste the local sweet wine “Moscatel”.

The city’sCathedral , nicknamed the “One-HandedCathedral ” for the absence of one of its bell towers, is striking in its splendor. Next to the Cathedral is the Bishop’s Palace and the square of the same name.
