Exclusive tour: Pasta Masterclass with the chef of Bellagio Restaurant

The elegant restaurant in Bellagio, just a short drive from the city centre and Lake Como, is home to an award-winning creative chef.

As a young chef, the chef worked at the famous Villa D’Este for seven years and has already won 40 gold medals in international cooking competitions.

The chef is nevertheless humble and energetic, talking about using local ingredients and giving hands-on pasta-making classes in his family restaurant.

Your culinary adventure will begin around 10:00am when the chef himself will meet you at the hotel lobby in Bellagio, at the post office or at the exit to the road crossing (if you need transport, please book in advance with our managers) and treat you to culinary masterpieces on the way to his family’s restaurant.

When you arrive at the restaurant, relax for a moment with a cup of coffee or cappuccino with the chef, then put on your apron and explore the herb garden behind the restaurant.

The hands-on cookery class starts at 10:30am and will focus on making homemade pasta fresca, made with fresh ingredients, as well as risotto, tagliatelle, gnocchi and desserts, each day different.

Afterwards you can enjoy lunch on the terrace (weather permitting).

The chef will thank you for your participation with a bottle of homemade olive oil, an apron, a certificate of participation, and a selection of English recipes dedicated to dishes typical of the region.

Your class will end at around 2:30pm.
