Excursion to the bohemian quarter of Barcelona Ribera, the former home of sailors and gypsies, with the interesting Chocolate Museum and medieval monuments (Santa Maria del Mar Church, mansions on Princesa Street and Born Street), as well as to the Ciutadella Park, its history and the most picturesque corners: the Aurora Fountain, the Palace of the Three Dragons, the pavilions of the 1888 exhibition.

The gardens of the Plaza de Armas were designed by the French architect Jean Forestier, and the cascade of fountains in the center of the garden ensemble was created by the architect Josep Fonsere with the participation of the young Antoni Gaudi. The cascade is crowned by the Arc de Triomphe, decorated with sculptural allegorical bas-reliefs.
