Potsdam – Frederick the Great’s Favorite City

The “Prussian Versailles” is the Hohenzollern summer residence, the crown jewel of which is Sanssouci Palace. Also in Potsdam, we’ll see the palace where Germany’s fate was decided in 1945 – Cecilienhof Palace, the site of the Potsdam Conference. We’ll learn about the origins of the Russian settlement of Alexandrovka in central Potsdam, visit the Dutch Quarter, and admire Potsdam’s Old Market Square.
