RHEIN WATERFALL – SCHAFFHAUSEN-STEIN AM RHEIN – SAINT GALLEN

You will see the largest plain waterfall in Europe, 150 metres wide and 23 metres high. The breathtaking spectacle of turbulent streams of water will give you a lot of pleasant impressions. One of the most exciting moments of the tour is a boat ride to the rock at the foot of the waterfall and a climb along a narrow path to the top of the waterfall.

The less brave can watch the waterfall from the viewing platforms, which are located in the immediate vicinity of the powerful water flows. In Schaffhausen, a fascinating walk through the beautiful streets of the old town awaits you. From the observation decks of the Munog Fortress you can enjoy a magnificent view of the city and the Rhine River. The town of Stein on the Rhine will enchant you with its medieval buildings and exquisitely painted facades.

The main attraction of St Gallen is the abbey of the same name. The monastic buildings with their Baroque library hall are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Gothic monastery of St Catherine, whose galleries are dotted with lush vegetation, is also a must-see.
