SIGURTA PARK

Sigurta Park is not far from Lake Garda (an hour’s drive away). In 2013. The park was recognised as the most picturesque in all of Italy.

Since the 15th century, it has been a manor house with many owners, and the park acquired its present form only in the second half of the twentieth century.

It is very large, it is better to allocate 2-3 hours for a walk, or even a whole day if you plan a leisurely rest.

There are ponds with lilies and fish and a garden of medicinal plants.

Children love the petting zoo with deer, sheep and donkeys, while adults enjoy wandering through the boxwood maze.

The park combines a forest with ancient trees and a garden with many colourful flowers. English lawns with soft grass beckon you to run barefoot or have a picnic.

There are also hills overlooking the surrounding countryside. The flowers are abundant here, with daffodils and tulips blooming first, followed by irises, roses and lotuses, and then asters and dahlias in autumn.

The owner’s villa can only be seen from the outside – it is a residential house and the entrance is closed.

To get around the park faster, you can rent a bicycle or golf cart.

A small train runs through the park.

Infrastructure is well thought out, with benches, drinking water fountains, cafes and toilets.

A green oasis spread over 60 hectares.

There are 18 lakes with koi carp, a garden with aquatic and medicinal plants, a large oak tree, which is almost 400 years old and its trunk is 6 metres in circumference.

Labyrinths and compositions of shrubs and trees, an amazing variety of flowers: tulips, irises, lilies and, of course, will not leave you indifferent, an avenue of roses, a length of 1 km.

The Sigurta Park Garden is considered one of the most beautiful parks in the world.

Open from March to November and except December 24, April 1, May 1
