Paphos is Cyprus of ancient legends, Roman mosaics, and Mediterranean landscapes. The tour connects the mythology of the island, archaeological heritage, and the leisurely atmosphere of the old seaside town.
The first stop will be Petra tou Romiou — the famous Rock of Aphrodite. According to ancient legend, it was here, from the sea foam, that the goddess of love and beauty, Aphrodite, emerged. The cliffs, clear water, and open panorama of the Mediterranean Sea have made this place one of the symbols of Cyprus.
Next, the journey will continue to Kato Paphos. Here is the Archaeological Park, where the ruins of the ancient city and the famous Roman villas with mosaic floors are preserved. The themes of ancient myths, geometric patterns, and the remarkable preservation of the mosaics allow us to imagine how wealthy Paphos was during the Roman Empire.
After exploring the ancient part of the city, there will be time for lunch in the Paphos harbor area. Here you can relax in one of the restaurants with a view of the sea and yachts. Lunch is paid separately.
Then you will visit the Church of Agia Kyriaki and the Pillar of Saint Paul — a place associated with the early Christian history of Cyprus.
The tour will conclude with a walk through the Old Town of Paphos. Free time can be devoted to small shops, souvenir stalls, local products, or simply strolling through the old streets.
After a busy day — return to Limassol.
