The museum is located near the Palazzo Te in the former country residence – the villa of Francesco II Gonzaga – in the Palace of St. Sebastian. The sections of the museum are dedicated to painting and architecture, ancient art, Mantua, and the surrounding lakes. Visiting the museum will allow you to better familiarize yourself with and understand the history of the city.
