The tour to Ronda, one of the most beautiful cities in Spain, starts on the Costa del Sol. Just an hour’s drive from
Marbella, along a mountain road with stunning views, and you are in a city that is already about 3 thousand years old. Ronda is located on
a cliff that served as a natural defense against enemy attacks.
The so-called “New Bridge” and Bullring are the main symbols of the city. The bridge offers amazing views of the valley, the so-called “Orchestra Pit.” And it was in Ronda that the rules of foot bullfighting were established, which are still in effect today, and it is here, at the end of August-beginning of September, that one of the most prestigious bullfights in Spain, the so-called “Goyesca” bullfight, takes place, featuring the most famous toreros of Spain.
Here is located the Royal School of Equestrian Art and the Museums of Bullfighting and Antique Weapons.
