This exclusive tour takes place in the evening. Advance booking is a mandatory condition, as permission from the Venetian Patriarchate is required. The cathedral is open only to those who have booked tickets. Accompanied by an authorized guide, you will visit one of the city’s gems, which is a rare example of Byzantine architecture in Western Europe. The cathedral, adorned with numerous mosaics in the Byzantine style, houses the relics of Saint Mark and many valuable works of art brought from Constantinople during the Crusades. You will see what is not available to everyone and is accessible only to the chosen few. In 1987, the cathedral, along with other Venetian monuments, was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The church reserves the right to cancel or postpone private visits to the cathedral due to an unplanned religious event.
