You will also learn an equally interesting story about the first “visitor” of the island, Luis Salvador – the Archduke of Austria.
“Potato Pie”
A very tasty attraction of the village. Here you can still find traditional family bakeries that prepare
a soft, sweet pie made from dough with boiled potatoes. It is very delicious to wash it down with a cup of aromatic coffee or hot chocolate.
After visiting the wonderful Valldemossa, you will be awaited by an excursion to Cape Sa Foradada.
Once here, you will definitely confirm that this is one of the most beautiful places on our planet. You will be able to enjoy an incredibly beautiful landscape, as if it came straight from a tourist postcard.
You can also climb to the observation deck to appreciate all this magnificence from above. After contemplating the amazing landscapes, you will head to another equally interesting place, a true oasis of tranquility, the artists’ village – Deià. An excursion through its streets, where honey-colored sandstone houses stand, fills you with a special atmosphere of happiness and harmony. It is no wonder this place is so beloved by representatives of the arts. For example, the poet Robert Graves lived here, and the famous traveler Ava Gardner loved to come here for inspiration.
The final stage of the journey will be an excursion to Sóller – a picturesque, provincial town nestled in a valley with orange groves, between the mountains and the sea. Here we can enjoy a relaxing atmosphere, explore colorful attractions, stroll through typical streets, and peek into the port of Sóller, where the famous Jumeirah Port Soller hotel is located.
