For several years now, more and more castles south of the capital of Lombardy have been opening their doors and inviting you behind their stone walls. What’s inside? We could only guess before.
Ancient halls, intimidating dungeons and secret underground passages, portraits of distant ancestors and of course, a ghost – it can’t be without it.

Lombardy is one of the most famous Italian regions, a region with a rich history, monuments, and architectural masterpieces. This is the result of a large number of wealthy people, often families, who built majestic impregnable fortresses and estates on their lands. Especially many of them appeared during the period between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.
