Day's program:
Description:
Florence begins with its historic center — dense, cohesive, and almost museum-like in the concentration of monuments.
Cathedral Square connects Santa Maria del Fiore, Brunelleschi's Dome, Giotto's Bell Tower, and the Baptistery of San Giovanni; nearby is the Medici-Riccardi Palace and the first stories about the family that shaped the character of the city.
In Piazza della Signoria, you will find Palazzo Vecchio, the Loggia dei Lanzi, and key symbols of civic Florence; then, the Uffizi Gallery featuring works by Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, Titian, and Caravaggio.
After the Uffizi, explore Ponte Vecchio and Oltrarno: old palaces, artisan streets, local stories, and places connected to Tarkovsky and Dostoevsky.
In the evening — dinner in a trattoria, fine dining, or a Michelin restaurant according to preference.
Day's program:
Description:
The second day focuses on art, the Medici, and less obvious addresses in Florence.
In the Academy Gallery — Michelangelo's sculpture, works by Giambologna, and paintings from various periods; next — places related to the political, familial, and artistic history of the Medici.
Optionally — the Medici Chapel at the Basilica of San Lorenzo: the tombs of the dynasty, Michelangelo's New Sacristy, and the Cappella dei Principi with marble and semi-precious stones.
After lunch — Santo Spirito: artisan shops, small squares, wine bars, and local cafes on the Oltrarno side.
Then — Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica Santa Maria Novella, an ancient Florentine pharmacy with perfumery and interiors from the Medici era, Palazzo Pitti, and the Boboli Gardens.
In the evening — an aperitif on a rooftop or terrace bar (optional), followed by a walk across Ponte Santa Trinita, via Tornabuoni, and Piazza della Repubblica.
Day's program:
Description:
This day is dedicated to the Florentine taste, craftsmanship, and urban aesthetics.
First — a local market and traditional grocery shops with a chef, followed by a private cooking masterclass in a local family's kitchen.
The practice revolves around three authentic recipes; local wines are paired with the prepared dishes.
Optional — artisan workshops in Florence: leather, jewelry, paper, mosaics, engravings, and live techniques related to the Renaissance tradition.
After lunch — Palazzo Strozzi, one of the main Renaissance palaces in the city, featuring exhibitions of art, sculpture, and historical artifacts.
Day's program:
Description:
Slow Florence — a softer day with space for pauses, shopping, and modern Florentine addresses.
The morning can be left free or dedicated to a trip to The Mall Firenze, one of the most famous outlets near the city.
After lunch — Gucci Garden at Piazza della Signoria: a museum, boutique, art space, and an exhibition on the history of Gucci featuring limited items.
In the evening — an aperitif at a rooftop or terrace bar (optional) and dinner in a chosen format.
Day's program:
Description:
The final morning can be reserved for a leisurely stroll, shopping, or returning to favorite spots in the center of Florence.
After free time — a comfortable transfer to the airport.
